








Current time in Beijing is 7:51 p.m. Saturday, November 8 (of course the clock in the hotel room is in military time, so I constantly have to subtract 12 in my head ...) I have just returned from a Peking Duck Dinner. How did I like? Somewhat OK.
Again we ate 'family style' with food coming out at us continually. My first taste of the duck was a cold piece of the shoulder that was cut in a rectangle with congealed fat on it. Needless to say - I didn't care for it. Not big on the texture. I've posted a picture of me eating it.
However, when the waitress brought out the roasted duck it was much better. She showed us how to make what looked like a burrito with the duck in a thin pancake looking food. It was good. Probably not something I would just randomly order, but it was a fun experience.
Anyway, I'm in for the night ... Really tired and we have a big day tomorrow.
